Adam has been an invaluable and integral part of my evolution within photography. We all know what an amazing photographer Adam is, but during the past few months, I also discovered he is an amazing teacher, mentor, friend and unofficial shrink. He inspires, he challenges, as a result, he helps make you a better photographer.

Adam clearly takes his role as mentor very seriously, investing time and energy to understand what you want from your photography/as a photographer and what you need from the mentorship/Tours itself.

Over the course of our work together, he never failed to provide insightful and constructive critiques of the images presented, and he helped me understand what I do well, what I need to get better at and how to get where I want. When I go out shooting now, I feel like Adam is always with me, like a voice in my head or a “third eye”, so to speak, supporting me, urging me out of my comfort zone and making sure I watch my corners and take responsibility for every image. The biggest and most valued lesson I’ve taken away from Adam is to slow down. Plan what you want to achieve and take steps to knock it out of the park. If you are an amateur wanting to further your skills in photography or an established photographer wanting to try a different style, I would highly recommend Adam and his Tours; you certainly won’t be disappointed. I know I wasn’t.

I am so glad I did a workshop with Adam! I feel far more equipped to shoot landscape photography by myself after his practical tips and examples in a variety of conditions. Adam’s knowledge of the area and conditions meant that I came away with amazing photos. His passion and willingness to give helpful feedback was inspiring. Adam’s knowledge and passion about the Broken Hill area meant we had great conversations on the road. Do a workshop if you want to have a really enjoyable time!

Do yourself a favour and get into the outback with Adam for some amazing photographic opportunities. He's a fabulous tour guide and a great photography teacher. He's patient and only too willing to help and guide you. He explains things in an easy to understand fashion and tells you everything you need to know, including camera settings and lighting techniques that make sense.

Adam will take you to some amazing locations where you can capture the essence of the Outback. If you're thinking about doing a photography workshop or tour with Adam, don't hesitate... just do it. I can promise you won't be disappointed.

My photography tour with Adam was excellent. He was patient and so easy to understand. I have been terrified of using manual, but Adam made it so easy. My camera hasn't been off manual since doing the tour and my new best friend is the histogram. Thank you Adam for bringing it all together for me!

What an incredible three days with Adam! I got to know the history, culture and layout of Broken Hill. I got to photograph incredible places that ordinary tourists just can't access. I learnt how to compose amazing images in Adam's style. I came away with SO MANY great shots that have already had a great reception online. On top of that Adam was easy to talk to, trustworthy and has such a high level of integrity. I had an awesome time and highly recommend a tour with Adam.

There are so many amazing words in the dictionary to describe the wonderful scenery that was sunset and sunrise in Mildura and at mungo national park and also the great group we had on the tour - and the accommodation at mungo national park was excellent the rooms were roomy and spacious with each having their own outdoor deck. I enjoyed the fact that the group got on so well together and we all had great discussions on all sorts of topics around the dinner table.

I thoroughly enjoyed the recent trip with you and want to congratulate you wholeheartedly on a job well done. I do many of these photoshoots, and yours is in the top group of value for money, lessons learned and the fun factor.

I enjoyed the variety of locations visited, plenty of opportunities to capture the best images at each location, standard of accommodation and transport, knowledge and approachability of the tour leader, and small group of like-minded compatible individuals.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time together and the various locations and Adam's local knowledge along with his assistance in all aspects. Adam is very easy to get along with.

Adam - provides a photo tour second to none, but most notable is his flexibility in changing the itinerary of the tour due to lots of unforeseen issues that change on a daily basis (eg weather, site access, accommodation etc) to get the ultimate photo opportunities for his clients. his pick of accommodation, and eateries are the best there is in the places we visited. But foremost, loved his photo composition tips and suggestions, which i would normally consider par say, and miss, but were actually the best way of taking a good composition of the sites.

From start to finish, the whole experience was above expectations. The destination was spectacular.

It was a good mix of photography and being outdoors in an unbelievably beautiful location. I wouldn't change anything.

I rate Adam highly as a photographer and will definitely make another one of his trips soon. If you were thinking about doing it, don’t wait. You will not regret it.

I particularly liked that the group was small so we had plenty of attention and were able to build a rapport. The diversity of photography genres: lots of other photography opportunities were maximised throughout the day when we weren't shooting landscapes and, of course, the opportunity to get access to photograph the walls of China in Mungo, NP.

If you really want to level up your photography, you won't find a better teacher! Adam ensured we were taken to the best spots in time for the best light. Our group was small, which gave ample opportunity for everyone to receive individual attention. Adam's extraordinary photographic skills, combined with his knowledge of Mungo were great assets to those of us in the workshop - particularly at sunrise and sunset. I learned many new things and can't thank him enough. Overall, it was a highly rewarding experience and I'd jump at the chance to join another of his outback workshops!

Adam's three day Lake Mungo workshop was fantastic. I very much appreciated the time Adam spent with each individual in our small group to hone and develop our photography skills so that we could do justice to the unique and special place that is Lake Mungo. In addition to sharing his passion for photography & wealth of photographic knowledge & experience in a relaxed & low-key but very professional way, Adam also made sure that all the accommodation & administrative details of our trip were taken care of seamlessly. This meant that workshop participants were able to focus purely on photography. Adam was flexible in adjusting our schedule to optimise our time at Lake Mungo and in the wider National Park.

Adam is a very helpful and supportive teacher, who takes the time to see that everyone in the group is enabled to get good images.  He is also very knowledgeable about locations around the area and the wildlife especially the birds.

The editing sessions we did were great, in part because we did them with our own photos. The locations we went to were great, somewhere you won't see every day, and that adds to the experience. I felt very comfortable, like no question is too dumb, no idea is silly, you can ask anything and query anything, and Adam has a considered answer for it all. I will definitely do more of Adam's workshops and absolutely recommend them to others.

Attending 

One of the highlights of the workshop was undoubtedly the opportunity to visit the breathtaking Mungo National Park, and when the weather took a turn for the worse, we quickly put plan B into action and headed to the Flinders Ranges.  The landscapes were nothing short of awe-inspiring, providing the perfect backdrop for honing our photography skills. But what truly set this experience apart was Adam's ability to not just teach, but to inspire.

Under Adam's guidance, I learned a plethora of new skills, from composition  and editing techniques to mastering the intricacies of capturing the elusive Aurora. His attention to detail and personalised approach ensured that each participant received the support they needed to excel.

Thanks to Adam's expertise and the camaraderie within our small group, I was able to capture some truly amazing photos, ones that I'll cherish for a lifetime. Adam takes the time to find out what you want to do to improve your photography and make a unique image.  He is personable and inclusive and makes sure everyone in the group gets his attention when it's needed.  He clearly explains techniques for processing photographs which make a world of difference to your images.  Added to that he takes of everything to make sure you have the best time possible on his workshop.  It's one of the best workshops I've been on.

The workshop is run at a friendly and leisurely pace. Adam is a natural and patient teacher allowing everyone to progress at a rate well suited to them.

I had much lower photography skills than other people in the group, but Adam was extremely helpful in showing me how to get the best out of my camera, and I think my skills did improve a lot over the course of the workshop. The small size of the group meant we could be very flexible in what we did and where we stopped, and Adam went to a lot of trouble to make sure everyone had a good time.
